Green Season Planning Workshop

9 am to 12 Noon

The Sundays following Pentecost are marked by the color "green".  This is the color of growth, suggesting a time of spiritual growth.  It inspires the Lord's church to consider how each member and the church as a whole might grow in faith and in love.

Our congregational goal for the Green Season 2005 is that Life in Christ grow in the gift of hospitality.

People love coming to churches where they feel welcomed and loved...where people remember their names...where there was a feeling of friendship.

That's the kind of spirit we want to nurture and grow at LICL. Our Green Season planning workshop will help us reach our goal. 

We will meet at the church from 9 am to 12 noon on Saturday, June 25th. Following a time of worship and devotion, we will break out into small groups to address two objectives:

	Ensure that people who visit LICL feel welcomed
	Ensure that people who worship here feel accepted and that they belong

(If we have a large enough group, we will consider a third objective - ideas to expand our mission and ministry)
