Pastor George
A. Spicer
Rev. Spicer was installed as pastor of LICL
in January, 2005. Previously he had served congregations in
Festus, Missouri and Hilton
Head Island, South Carolina.
Rev. Spicer is married and has three grown
children and one grandchild (see the picture below). He
enjoys preaching and leading worship, teaching Bible
classes, working with children and youth and encouraging
people to hear the Word of God and put it into practice in
their daily lives. He marvels at how the Lord is growing
Life in Christ Lutheran and prays that the congregation will
grow in their desire to love God, love others and reach the
community and world with the saving love of Jesus.
His
hobbies include reading, listening to music and messing
around with his guitar. He tries to never miss and episode
of “NCIS” or “The Office.” His favorite teams are the
Cardinals – the St. Louis baseball Cardinals and the Arizona
football Cardinals.
He promises that visitors and guests will
receive a warm and friendly welcome from him and the people
of Life in Christ Lutheran. He enjoys making new friends
and hopes that if you do not have a church home, you will
come and visit LICL soon.
