Use your gifts and talents to serve the Lord and others at Life in Christ

As our membership grows at Life In Christ Lutheran Church it is becoming increasingly difficult to be aware and respond to the needs of our church family. In January a new Human Care Committee was formed to address this very concern. This new committee will function as a key link between Pastor and parishioner, providing a coordinated effort to facilitate needed services in a timely and efficient manner.

Services will include:
• congregational health nurse consultation
transportation to medical appointments, church, grocery store
other volunteer support such as housekeeping, companion sitting, yard work
meals following illness/surgery

The members of this committee would include a representative from the various organizations that currently support our members.

      Suggested participants are:

        Congregational Health Ministry
        LWM
        Small Group Coordinator
        Stephen Ministry Leader
Members at Large with a particular interest or expertise in Human Care Services

Jesus tells us the story of the Good Samaritan who really did it all. He provided medical care, transportation, housing, companionship and lastly money. May we model the Good Samaritan’s actions to our church family, our neighbors and the world.

If you have an interest in being a part of the Human Care committee please contact Sherri Spicer.

If you have a special need that this team could assist you with, please contact either the church office or send an email to humancare@licl.org.
