Sermon Series: Run the Race
Run the Race: Pursuing the Christian Life with Jesus
...let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus...
For our 2019 sermon series, we come together as a congregation to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus in pursuing the Christian life. During this time, we commit to:
- Attending worship every time we can
- Reading our Bible every day along with a short devotional (like Portals of Prayer or Treasuring God's Word)
- Spending at least a few minutes in prayer every day
- Memorizing at least one Bible verse every week
If you can't make it to worship, we will share our sermon videos and weekly devotionals (or "training guides") here throughout the year. We hope you join us in running the race!

Have your kids, grandkids or fellow traveler ever asked you, “Are we there yet?” Did Mary ask that question as they walked to Bethlehem? Hear from Pastor Spicer as we begin the final phase of our Run the Race series with our own “Walk to Bethlehem” journey. Will you join us? (Learn more here.)
October 13, 2019 — Sermon by Pastor Neil Andersen
In this week’s Old Testament reading, two women, Ruth and Orpah, are confronted by the risks involved in following the True God. Their reactions are important, and so are our reactions as people called to follow Jesus.
August 4, 2019 — Sermon by Pastor George Spicer
