Discipleship Moment

It is a new Bible study that has caught the attention of the Christian community. It is a fictional narrative regarding Jesus’ first disciples. It also highlights Jesus’ ministry as recorded in the four Gospels. Chosen disciples were an integral part of Jesus’ plan for His church on earth. Indeed, in a broader sense, all believers are chosen to be His passionate messengers in our desperate world.

New Journey Teams will be starting soon!!

There will be a Lunch-n-learn at noon on Sunday May 5th, 2024.
You will be able to watch a short informational video, meet the new facilitators, ask questions,
and even sign up for a Journey Team!
Sign-up sheets will also be in the Narthex on 5.12, 5.19, and 5.26. Journey Teams are planning on starting in June.
Please continue to pray for this exciting ministry!

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another and all the more as you see the Day approaching".
-Hebrews 10:24-25

Please contact the office for more information or with any questions.

Opportunities to Serve at LICL

  • We are still looking for one more team for 9:30 AM and two for 11:00 AM services. If you are interested in helping with banners, please let them know. Cathy D. will provide one-on-one training for any new people and if anyone needs a refresher course. Procedures regarding the wine, wafers, and linens have also been provided. Please remember what we are doing and why we are doing it. We are preparing the Lord’s Supper. This is not a chore, but rather an honor to serve! Please prepare early enough so that you do not feel rushed. Let’s have our mind set on our Lord and Savior. It would be a great idea for each team to pray together before preparing the wine and bread. Please go to Leslie H. or Cathy D. with any concerns.

  • Full-time for 9:30 AM Contemporary Worship Service.

Do you have your own Bass guitar, and can read chord charts/sheets? Do you have previous playing experience, and would love to join a wonderful group of Worshipers in Music Ministry? If you are 15 years, or older, please talk to Terri Witte (da drummer)!

Please contact the office with any questions.

  • One Greeter Team needs a Team Leader for the 11:00 am service on the 4th Sunday of each month. Please prayerfully consider becoming a Team Leader.
    Thank you.

Contact Linda H. at (623) 882-5223 for this opportunity.

  • If you are in 4th Grade or higher and can assist with services during the summer or the rest of the year, please contact Nancy J. at (623) 977-7220. Your help is appreciated and an important part of the worship service.
